Absolutely wonderful interview, loved every second. It is such a wild phenomenon that you can be overwhelmed by strong feelings of nostalgia from accounts that you are yourself too young to remember. Listening to Moriarty relate these incredible anecdotes from the early days of computing really touched me even though I am born in the mid-80s and started out on a 486. What's remarkable too is how much has changed in the way in which we are learning how to program, and what the focus is. A spontaneous community arising around a local game store who learn reverse engineering and assembler because they want to pirate games is just epic. If I had a DeLorean, forget the "great" moments of history: _this_ is where I would want to go.

I'm so happy to hear the next part of this series!

Is there any way you could convince Brian to share that BOSE commercial you mentioned? No matter how poor the quality, certainly it deserves not only to be preserved, but shared. I'm sure many people would love to see what it looked like. Historically it is probably priceless. What would it take to get it uploaded it to YouTube or some other video site? Thanks in advance for looking into this, and thanks for this episode!
